Another St Luke’s Success

St Luke’s Christmas Fair

The St Luke’s Christmas Fair was well attended, with a real mixture of friends new and old enjoying lunch and the stalls. The youngest was less than 3 months old – he attracted much admiration! Several people ran stalls for the first time: George is a natural on bric-a-brac, with Mike to make sure everything is done right, Kia drew some beautiful snowmen on the faces of some of the children and Abi and Emma had spent all week producing lovely treats for Christmas.

St Lukes Fair

As usual the lunches were much enjoyed and the kitchen team of Christine, Rita and Debbie did a wonderful job. Caroline’s meringues were the usual hit – in fact one or two people had dessert first!

Thanks to everyone who helped with setting up, running stalls and clearing up. We made over £1100 for church funds.

Thanks

Sarah
