Thy Kingdom Come! May 2018

As we have done over the past 2 years, in May we are participating in the Archbishops’ global prayer event, ‘Thy Kingdom Come’. The idea is in the 10 day period between Ascension (Thursday 10th May) and Pentecost (Sunday 20th May) to get Christians around the world to pray for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. This year the event coincides with Christian Aid Week (13-19 May) so we will be making available a prayer booklet that allows folk to pray for God’s Kingdom to come through the ministry of Christian Aid. St. Marks are organising a collection for the refugees in Syria on behalf of samarasaid.org over the weekend of the 9th-12th June.
