Cinderella Update

Cinderella Update

Rehearsals are now in full swing for our traditional family pantomime, ‘”Cinderella”, and the production is starting to take shape.
On Wednesday 4th November the chorus were in full throat at a rehearsal at St Luke’s Church, under the kindly but firm control of the show’s writer and director, Ian Thomson-Smith, with nimble-fingered piano accompaniment provided by our impresario, Ruth Yarborough.
Early indications are that the singing is going to be of a (some might say surprisingly) high standard and audiences are sure to be impressed.
Rehearsals are taking place on Wednesday evenings each week with chorus practices alternating with acting rehearsals. It’s fair to say the cast are throwing themselves into their roles and the show promises to be a fun evening’s entertainment for all.
Tickets are not yet available for purchase as performances aren’t scheduled to take place until 4th and 5th February 2016, but look out in the coming weeks for further details in our “Cinderella” poster campaign, soon to be rolled out around the streets of Bilton, or follow developments via the churches’ Facebook page
