8th Feb Coffee Morning

 SATURDAY 8th FEBRUARY 10am-12noon

COFFEE MORNING in St John’s Church Hall in aid of Community First Responders (CFRs).

CFRs are volunteers helping the community by turning out when the Ambulance Service is under time pressure. CFRs are trained by the Ambulance Service and when on duty are provided with a medical kit which includes a defibrillator and oxygen. When a call comes through the

CFRs drive to the address in their own vehicles to help the patient, providing First Aid until the professionals arrive. CFRs may be sent to heart attacks, strokes, fitting, diabetic problems, passing out and choking. There are three CFRs in Bilton. This is a national scheme. CFRs are not given any help with costs, so we raise funds to provide training, equipment and clothing so that they can carry on saving lives. Please help us by supporting our coffee morning there will be the usual tea, coffee etc with biscuits included in the entrance price of £1. We will also be serving toasted teacakes, and there will be home-made cakes and hand-made cards for sale as well as a raffle and tombola. All proceeds will go to the CFRs fund.
